I had been dealing with pain when running for about five years. I saw a physical therapist on the civilian side and two in the Army, but I kept getting the same exact cookie-cutter exercises and advice. “Your stride is too long.” “Your hamstrings must be tight.” None of it helped.
I ended up going to Nick after hearing people in my unit talk about how he had helped them with different issues. Right away, he took a different approach. He asked questions no one else had, watched me run with shoes and barefoot, and even watched how I stand/walked. He immediately noticed my feet were caving in and that my hips were rotating inward—things that had been missed for years.
He gave me a running plan and specific exercises to treat the underlying issues, and now I’m running pain-free for the first time in years. I honestly wish I had found Nick sooner.
